Course Description:

This introductory course is designed for learners with no prior knowledge of Arabic. It provides a foundation in the Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and everyday conversational expressions. The course prepares participants to communicate confidently at a basic level, with an emphasis on both Modern Standard Arabic and the Lebanese dialect.

Course Objectives:

Introduce learners to the Arabic alphabet and sound system.

Develop recognition of basic vocabulary for daily interactions.

Familiarize learners with simple grammar and sentence patterns.

Provide exposure to Modern Standard Arabic and Lebanese dialect.

Promote confidence in using Arabic in common social and travel situations.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Identify and correctly pronounce Arabic letters and sounds.

2. Read and write simple words and short phrases in Arabic.
